Donna Gatson is an emerging artist born an raised on the Monterey Peninsula w/ deep ties to the South and Southwest. Her work ranges from Black Country Folk Art, Found Object Assemblage , to a style she refers to as “Afro/Deco Cubism”.

I love using found objects , the art of silversmithing and painting to tell ancestral and other stories.
